Who we are

CeFAEGI.EUM ETS, the Centre for Formation in the Educational Activity of the Jesuits of the Euro-Mediterranean Province, continues the experience of CeFAEGI, born to support the apostolic presence of the Society of Jesus in the school and educational field through a strong formative action inspired by the Ignatian tradition.

The Centre promotes pathways of qualification, updating, and human and professional formation addressed to leadership, teaching and non-teaching staff of schools and to the various figures engaged in education. Its mission is to accompany those who work in educating communities on a path of personal and professional growth, so that the Ignatian way of proceeding becomes a concrete criterion of relationship, teaching, responsibility and service.

CeFAEGI.EUM ETS thus intends to contribute to scientific and didactic development in the field of school and education, fostering dialogue between Ignatian tradition, educational professionalism and the challenges of the present. Its vision is a school able to form the person integrally, uniting competence, care, discernment, responsibility and service.

In this perspective, the Centre stands as a place of formation, reflection and accompaniment for Ignatian educational works, so that the educational charism of the Society of Jesus continues to be a living and shared resource in the mission of Jesuits and lay people.
